How Do I Create an Accordion Table?

← Return Read on ↓

To create an accordion table:

  1. Click into the existing text feature where you intend to add your accordion.
  2. Choose the Create Table button in the WYSIWYG editor.
  3. Create a table with one column and the desired number of rows.*
  4. In the Advanced settings tab, input site-table-mobile site-table-accordion CSS in the Stylesheet Classes field.
  5. Select OK.

*Please note that you will need a row for each accordion heading and a row for each item of body content. There should always be an even number of rows.

Once you have created your table, you will need to designate which rows will be the header cells. To do this:

  1. Right click on the first row of your table.
  2. Select Cell.
  3. Select Cell Properties from the menu that appears.
  4. Change the Cell Type from Data to Header in the Cell Properties pop-up.
  5. Select OK.

Repeat this process for each row / cell in your accordion table that needs to be a header.

You can then input your copy into the accordion table.

To test your table, preview the page by clicking the eye icon in the top right-hand corner of the window.
