How Do I Password Protect a Page?

To password protect a page follow these steps:

 
Set the Page or Pages to Password Protected
  • Navigate the page you wish to password protect and choose Options > Settings (next to the AMAIS logo).
  • Under the Advanced Properties section, enable Do you want this page to be password protected?
  • Select Save.
 
Set a Role in the Admin settings under the CMS
  • Go to CMS> ADMIN
  • Click Roles
  • Then click Add Role
  • Give this Role a Name (i.e. Password Protect) and select "Is Visitor Role"
  • Select the page(s) that correspond to the Password Protected page(s) set above
  • Click Save

 

Create a User in the Admin settings within the CMS
  • Within the Admin select User
  • Select Create New User
  • Choose a UserName, Email, and Password (*Note, the Email and Username can be the same to simplify)
  • Select the newly created role from the Dropdown list (i.e. Password Protected)
  • Save

 

Once all steps are taken you can share the username and password with anyone you wish to provide page access to.
