To add text to a Gallery feature:
- Hover over the Gallery you wish to add text to and select the Pen icon.
- If you haven’t added an image yet, select +Media. Otherwise, find the image you want to add text to and select Edit > Edit Content.
From here, there are two fields you can use to enter text: Description and Additional Content.
Where and how this text appears on the page can depend on your website’s styling, but typically text entered in the Description field will appear over the top of the image and text entered in the Additional Content field will appear below the image.
You can use all of the options available in the rich text editor to format your text.
After you have entered your text and Saved your changes, you then need to ensure it is visible on the page:
- You will have returned to the Edit window. Select the Settings tab and locate the Gallery Mode section.
- Tick the Do you want the gallery to show each image description? box.
- Save your changes.
