To pull in items to display features you will need to set up a collection of pages or posts in the DAM Asset Manager. To do this:
- Go to Assets under DAM in the AMAIS menu.
- Select the Collections tab.
- Click on the yellow Collection Manager button in the top right-hand corner of the window.
- Click + Collection.
- The ‘add new’ collection window should appear.
- Enter the Collection Name, i.e. News Posts.
- Enter the Collection Tags, i.e. news post. The tag(s) should all be lower case.
- Change the Collection Type to Page Collection or Post Collection* depending on what your display feature is for.
- Select Save.
*Note: If you are setting up the collection to pull in posts you will need to designate the pages you would like the collection to feature as posts.
Updating Your Display Feature With A Collection
Once you have created your collection:
- Return to the page with your display feature.
- Open the feature in Edit mode by hovering over the feature and selecting the pencil icon.
- Click on the yellow Collections Manager button. A pop-up with the collections manager should appear.
- Select the Tick Button on the collection that you would like to be pulled into your display feature.
- Select Update. The pop-up window should close.
- Select Save.
Go back to the page via Associations and if the pages or posts you would like to be pulled in have been tagged already, they should be visible in the display feature.
If tagging has not already been applied to pages that you would like to appear in the display feature then you will need to go to those pages and update the page tags in settings.
